After his assignment to Bosnia he became vice base commander of the 366th Wing, Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, where some of the U.S. Air Force’s air expeditionary composite wing is stationed. This wing has more than 4,800 military and civilian members serving in more than 24 squadrons. It is equipped with F-15C, F-15E, F-16CJ, B-1B, KC-135R fighter, bomber and tanker aircraft.

Now we all know, that weapons bring death and destruction. But we all know that weapons can stop tyranny and prevent more deaths and destruction. It all depends how they are used. You may remember or you may have forgotten, but in Bosnia as in Kosovo the on-lookers have hesitated painfully long, as you will see on the last page.
