Der
Mensch ist ein erstaunliches Wesen.
Er
opfert seine Gesundheit, um Geld zu machen.
Dann opfert er sein Geld, um seine Gesundheit wiederzuerlangen.
Er hat soviel Angst vor der Zukunft,
dass er die Gegenwart nicht genießt.
Deshalb lebt er weder in der Gegenwart noch in der Zukunft;
er lebt, als würde er nie sterben.
Aber wenn er stirbt, hat er nie wirklich gelebt.

Man
sacrifices his health in order to make money.
Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health.
He is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present;
the result being that he does not live in the present or the future;
he lives as if he is never going to die,
and then dies having never really lived.
